Samsung Galaxy S II Officially Confirmed to Receive Android 4 0 Update

We already know that Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be the first smartphone in the world to use Android 4.0 a.k.a Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Then it’s the same question again that we asked, which one of the existing phone that will receive that Google’s developed Android system? Motorola and HTC has been announce their decision. It is confirmed that some device like Droid RAZR, DROID Bionic and HTC Rezound will receive the update.



What about Samsung? There’s isn’t much word said from the Korean company, but our friend from AndroidAuthority might have some clue. According to their website, it is reported that Samsung officially confirm that they will provide Android 4.0 update for Samsung Galaxy S II (also known as Samsung Galaxy Note). The company also stated that some of their existing device such as Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, 8.9, 7.7 and 7.0 Plus, will receive the update as well.
